सूत उवाच । अयमेव मयाऽकारि प्रश्नो व्यासाय धीमते । ततः सर्वपुराणानां मया निर्वचनं श्रुतम्

Transliteration

sūta uvāca | ayameva mayā'kāri praśno vyāsāya dhīmate | tataḥ sarvapurāṇānāṃ mayā nirvacanaṃ śrutam

Translation

Sūta berkata: “Pertanyaan inilah yang pernah kuajukan kepada Vyāsa yang bijaksana. Lalu darinya aku mendengar penjelasan yang berwibawa tentang semua Purāṇa.”
