Karena Garuḍa sendiri adalah penutur, bagian itu dikenal sebagai “Gāruḍa”. Dan karena mengisahkan riwayat Brahmāṇḍa (alam semesta), ia dipuji sebagai “Brahmāṇḍa”.

Cosmic Event: brahmāṇḍa (cosmic egg) as narrative frame
It highlights that sacred knowledge is preserved through specific lineages of narration; recognizing the narrator and scope (cosmic Brahmāṇḍa account) supports śravaṇa (devotional listening) and right understanding, which in Shaiva Siddhanta aids the soul’s movement toward Shiva’s grace.
By defining textual sections and their subject-matter, it frames how devotees approach Saguna Shiva through Purāṇic narration—hearing the universe’s order and Shiva’s supremacy strengthens bhakti and supports Linga-centered worship grounded in scriptural authority.
Regular śravaṇa and pāṭha (listening/recitation) of Shiva Purana passages with reverence—especially on Mondays or Mahāśivarātri—paired with japa of the Panchākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) as a contemplative takeaway.
