Transliteration

evaṃ vyāsasamutpannaḥ satyavatyāṃ parāśarāt | purāṇasaṃhitāścakre mahābhāratamuttamam

Translation

Demikianlah Vyāsa lahir dari Parāśara melalui Satyavatī. Kemudian beliau menyusun himpunan-himpunan Purāṇa serta epos Mahābhārata yang luhur.
