मा नो हेतिर्विवस्वत आदित्याः कृत्रिमा शरुः । पुरा नु जरसो वधीत् ॥
Transliteration
mā́ no hetír vivásvata ādityāḥ kṛ́trimā śár uḥ | purā́ nu járaso vadhīt ||
Translation
Janganlah senjata Vivasvat menimpa kami, wahai Āditya—jangan pula anak panah permusuhan yang ditempa; janganlah ia memukul kami sebelum waktunya, sebelum kami masak melampaui desakan usia tua.
