Sukta 10.28
एवा हि मां तवसं वर्धयन्ति दिवश्चिन्मे बृहत उत्तरा धूः । पुरू सहस्रा नि शिशामि साकमशत्रंम हि मा जनिता जजान ॥
evā́ hí māṃ tavásaṃ vardháyanti diváś cit mé bṛhatá úttarā dhū́ḥ | purū́ sahásrā ní śiśāmi sākám aśátruṃ hí mā janitā́ jajā́na ||
Demikianlah mereka menambahkanku dalam kekuatan; bahkan melampaui langit pun puncak-puncakku yang lebih agung telah ditegakkan. Beribu-ribu aku kukumpulkan dan kupasangkan bersama; sebab yang melahirkanku telah melahirkan aku tanpa musuh—menjadikanku daya yang tak tertandingi.
