Sukta 10.15
इदं पितृभ्यो नमो अस्त्वद्य ये पूर्वासो य उपरास ईयुः । ये पार्थिवे रजस्या निषत्ता ये वा नूनं सुवृजनासु विक्षु ॥
idáṃ pitṛ́bhyo námo astv adyá yé pū́rvāso yá úparāsa ī́yuḥ | yé pārthíve rájasyā́ níṣattā yé vā nū́naṃ suvṛjánāsu vikṣú ||
Hari ini, sembah sujud ini bagi para Pitṛ (Bapa Leluhur): mereka yang terdahulu, dan mereka yang telah pergi ke alam yang lebih tinggi. Mereka yang bersemayam di ranah bumi, dan mereka yang kini berada di tengah kaum-kaum yang tertata indah—semoga semuanya menyambut tunduk-bakti kami.
