युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः
Sarga 76: Angada and the Vanara chiefs battle Kampana, Prajaṅgha, Yūpākṣa, Śoṇitākṣa; Kumbha enters and is checked by Sugrīva
सम्पीड्यरसिचास्कन्धम् करेणाभिनिवेश्य च ।।।।किञ्चिदभ्यवनम्यैनमुन्ममाथयथागजः ।
sampīḍyorasi cāskandhaṃ kareṇābhiniveśya ca |
kiñcid abhyavanamyainam unmamātha yathā gajaḥ ||
Menekan batang pohon itu ke dadanya dan menahannya dengan tangan, ia membungkukkannya sedikit, lalu mencabutnya hingga tercabut dari akar—bagaikan gajah merobohkan pohon.
Compressing the trunk of the tree on the chest with one hand and bending forward a little its branches with another hand, he (Angada) tore Kumbha in that way in the great fight like an elephant.
