Yoga-Sleep, Cosmic Dissolution, and the Lotus of Creation

with Mārkaṇḍeya’s Vision

एवमेकार्णवीभूते शेते लोके महाद्युतिः । प्रच्छाद्य सलिलेनोर्वीं हंसो नारायणाय ते

evamekārṇavībhūte śete loke mahādyutiḥ | pracchādya salilenorvīṃ haṃso nārāyaṇāya te

Demikianlah, ketika seluruh dunia menjadi satu samudra raya, Yang Mahabercahaya berbaring dalam rehat. Setelah menutupi bumi dengan air, Haṃsa itu—Nārāyaṇa—hadir bagimu.
