The Description of Mārkaṇḍeya
शिवाग्निकार्यनिरताः पञ्चाक्षरजपे रताः । शिवध्यानरता ये च ते वै भागवतोत्तमाः ॥ ७३ ॥
śivāgnikāryaniratāḥ pañcākṣarajape ratāḥ | śivadhyānaratā ye ca te vai bhāgavatottamāḥ || 73 ||
Mereka yang tekun dalam upacara api suci bagi Śiva, yang bersukacita dalam japa mantra pañcākṣara, dan yang larut dalam meditasi kepada Śiva—merekalah sungguh Bhāgavata yang tertinggi.
