Śrāddha-prayoga: Niyama, Brāhmaṇa-parīkṣā, Kutapa-kāla, Tithi-nyāya, and Vaiṣṇava-phala
Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada, within the Sanaka dialogue frame)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
The verse makes Viṣṇu the primary recipient of the sacred offering, showing that ritual merit is perfected when the act is dedicated to the Lord; only then is brahmana-feeding treated as sanctified prasāda-like participation.
Bhakti is expressed here as vinivedana—reverently presenting the best portion to Viṣṇu—so the entire rite (offering and hospitality) becomes God-centered rather than merely social or transactional.
It reflects ritual discipline and conduct—proper sequencing of offering (vinivedayet) and regulated speech (vāgyatā) during sacred eating—elements aligned with kalpa-style procedural rules and yajña etiquette.
