Śiva Grants the Pāśupata Astra (Pāśupata-Śastra Upadeśa) | शिवेन पाशुपतास्त्रदानम्

तान्‌ दृष्टवा लोकपालांस्तु समेतान्‌ गिरिमूर्थनि । जगाम विस्मयं धीमान्‌ कुन्तीपुत्रो धनंजय:,उस पर्वतशिखरपर एकत्र हुए उन सभी लोक-पालोंका दर्शन करके परम बुद्धिमान्‌ धनंजयको बड़ा विस्मय हुआ

tān dṛṣṭvā lokapālāṁs tu sametān girimūrdhani | jagāma vismayaṁ dhīmān kuntīputro dhanaṁjayaḥ ||

Melihat para Lokapāla berkumpul di puncak gunung itu, Dhanañjaya—putra Kuntī yang bijaksana—tertegun dalam keheranan yang mendalam.
