गदयाताडयत् सत्ये पाश्वे वानरपुज्भवम् । तब रावणकुमारने अपने निकट आये हुए उस वानरश्रेष्ठ वीर अंगदकी बायीं पसलीमें गदासे आघात किया
gadayā tāḍayat satye pārśve vānarapuṅgavam |
Markandeya berkata—dengan gada ia menghantam Aṅgada, yang terunggul di antara para wanara, pada sisi kirinya.
