Gandhamādana-praveśa and the Sudden Storm (गन्धमादनप्रवेशः — चण्डवातवर्षवर्णनम्)
सो5हमेनं तव प्रीत्या तप:सिद्धमपि ध्रुवम् । वियुनज्मि देहाद् देवेन्द्र मुहूर्त प्रतिपालय,देवेन्द्र! यद्यपि तपस्याद्वारा उसे सिद्धि प्राप्त हो चुकी है तो भी मैं तुम्हारे प्रेमवश निश्चय ही उस दैत्यको मार डालूगा, तुम थोड़ी देर और प्रतीक्षा करो
so’ham enaṁ tava prītyā tapaḥ-siddham api dhruvam | viyuñajmi dehād devendra muhūrtaṁ pratipālaya, devendra ||
“Karena itu, wahai Indra, demi kasih-Ku kepadamu, meski ia telah meraih keberhasilan melalui tapa, Aku pasti akan memisahkannya dari tubuhnya. Tunggu sekejap lagi, wahai raja para dewa.”

Spiritual attainment through tapas does not automatically exempt one from consequences; ethical protection and cosmic order may require decisive action even against a powerful, austerity-accomplished opponent.
The speaker reassures Indra that, despite the opponent’s ascetic accomplishments, he will certainly kill him (literally ‘separate him from the body’) and asks Indra to wait briefly.
