एकैको दानवस्तत्र वज्रहस्तसमो युधि । एकैकं स्पर्धते देवं जेतुं स्वेन बलेन ह ॥
ekaiko dānavas tatra vajrahastasamo yudhi | ekaikaṃ spardhate devaṃ jetuṃ svena balena ha ||
वहाँ हर एक दानव लड़ाई में इतना ताकतवर था कि वो इंद्र के बराबर लगता था। हर एक अपनी ताकत पे भरोसा रखता था। वो सब देवता को हराना चाहते थे। एक-एक दानव एक-एक देवता से लड़ने के लिए तैयार था।
