ब्रह्मणो मानसाः सप्त तेषामन्ये तपोधनाः । तेषामन्ये ततस्त्वन्ये चतुर्द्धा भूतसंग्रहः । सस्थानुजङ्गमानां च सृष्टिः सर्वत्र संस्थिता ॥
brahmaṇo mānasāḥ sapta teṣām anye tapodhanāḥ | teṣām anye tatas tv anye caturddhā bhūtasaṃgrahaḥ | sasthānujāṅgamānāṃ ca sṛṣṭiḥ sarvatra saṃsthitā ||
ब्रह्मा के मन से सात बेटे पैदा हुए। उनमें से कुछ तपस्या में बड़े थे। फिर उनसे और दूसरों से, सब जीव चार तरह के हो गए। जो चीज़ हिलता है और जो एक जगह रहती है, सब की सृष्टि हो गई।
