ये रुद्रमुपजीवन्ति कलौ वैडालिका नराः । लौल्यार्थिनः स्वशास्त्राणि करिष्यन्ति कलौ नराः । उच्छुष्मरुद्रास्ते ज्ञेया नाहं तेषु व्यवस्थितः ॥ ७१.५५ ॥
ye rudram upajīvanti kalau vaiḍālikā narāḥ | laulyārthinaḥ svaśāstrāṇi kariṣyanti kalau narāḥ | ucchuṣmarudrās te jñeyā nāhaṃ teṣu vyavasthitaḥ || 71.55 ||
कलि युग में कुछ लोग रुद्र का नाम लेके पेट चलाते हैं। यह लालची लोग अपने लिए नए-नए ग्रंथ लिख देंगे। इनको लोग उच्छुष्म-रुद्र बोलेंगे। मैं इनमें नहीं रहता।
