उसको भी असंग नाम के हथियार से काट दिया, जैसे तिल की दाल काटते हैं। जब वोह काट गया, तो एक और बंदा दिखा जो थोड़ा छोटा था।
Varāha (default speaker per dialogue framework; explicit speaker not stated in fragment)
It preserves a characteristic Purāṇic narrative style where martial imagery is used alongside ethical vocabulary (e.g., asaṅga ‘non-attachment’), offering evidence for didactic storytelling techniques in Sanskrit textual culture.
No geographic location is named in this verse fragment; it is focused on a narrative action and a proportional description (daśāṁśa ‘a tenth’).
The key ethical motif is suggested by the term asaṅga (‘non-attachment’): the verse frames detachment as a decisive instrument that ‘cuts’ through an obstacle, expressed through allegorical weapon imagery.
