The Procedure for the Dharaṇī Vow
Kārtika Dvādaśī Observance
एवं दत्त्वा विधानॆन द्वादश्यां विष्णुमर्च्य च । विप्राणां भोजनं कुर्याद् यथाशक्त्या सदक्षिणम् ॥ ५०.२० ॥
evaṁ dattvā vidhānena dvādaśyāṁ viṣṇum arcya ca | viprāṇāṁ bhojanaṁ kuryād yathāśaktyā sadakṣiṇam || 50.20 ||
इस तरह सही ढंग से दान करके, द्वादशी को विष्णु की पूजा करनी चाहिए। फिर पंडित लोगों को खाना खिलाना चाहिए, जितना चल सके उतना दान के साथ।
