मनसा वचसा चैव कर्मणा समुपार्जितम् ॥ पापं मासकृतं पुंसां दहत्येकादशी कृता
manasā vacasā caiva karmaṇā samupārjitam | pāpaṁ māsakṛtaṁ puṁsāṁ dahaty ekādaśī kṛtā ||
एक महीने में इंसान मन से, बोल से और काम से जो पाप कर लेता है, वो सब एकादशी के व्रत से जला के राख हो जाता है।
