तृप्तिं ज्ञात्वा तु विप्रस्य पक्वान्नेन तु माधवि ॥ दातव्यमुदके तस्य पाणावभ्युक्षणं ततः ॥
tṛptiṃ jñātvā tu viprasya পাকvānnena tu mādhavi || dātavyam udake tasya pāṇāv abhyukṣaṇaṃ tataḥ ||
जब ब्राह्मण खाना खा के खुश हो जाए, माधवी, तब उसको पानी पिला दो। उसके बाद उसके हाथ में थोड़ा पानी छिड़क दो।
