अहोरात्रेण घोरेण प्रेतं नयति माधवि ॥ दद्यात्तदर्थं विप्राय पदत्रे च सुखावहे ॥
ahorātreṇa ghoreṇa pretaṃ nayati mādhavi || dadyāt tad-arthaṃ viprāya padatre ca sukhāvahe ||
एक दिन और एक रात, बहुत डर्र वाला टाइम होता है। उस टाइम वो आत्मा को आगे ले जाता है, माधवी। इसके लिए एक ब्राह्मिन को जूता देना चाहिए। जूता कम्फर्टेबल होना चाहिए, पैर दर्द न हो।
