धरण्युवाच ॥ तवापराधाद्देवेश वर्ज्योऽयं वैष्णवेन च ॥ विनापराधो मनुजः सापराधश्च जायते ॥
dharaṇy uvāca || tavāparādhād deveśa varjyo 'yaṃ vaiṣṇavena ca || vināparādho manujaḥ sāparādhaś ca jāyate ||
धरणी ने कहा, देवी, आपका अपराध हो गया तो आदमी को छोड़ देना चाहिए। विष्णु के भक्त भी उससे दूर रहते हैं। बिना अपराध वाला आदमी भी अपराध करके बदनाम हो जाता है।
