The Curse of Sāmba and the Prescribed Observance of Sun-Worship
यः स्तुतोऽहं त्वया वीर तेन तुष्टोऽस्मि ते सदा ॥ स्पृष्टो देवेन सर्वाङ्गे तत्क्षणाद्दीप्तसच्छविः ॥
yaḥ stuto'haṁ tvayā vīra tena tuṣṭo'smi te sadā || spṛṣṭo devena sarvāṅge tatkṣaṇād dīptasacchaviḥ ||
सूरज बोले, हे वीर, तुम्हारी स्तुति से मैं हमेशा खुश हूँ। जब सूरज ने साम्बा के पूरे शरीर को हाथ लगाया, उसी वक्त साम्बा चमक उठा। उसका रंग चमकने लगा।
