The Efficacy and Merit of Cakra-tīrtha
Uttara Bhāga · Narrative Causality (Time, Knowledge, and Discovery)
ततः कालेन महता चिन्ताभूच्छ्वशुरस्य च ॥ दिव्यज्ञानॆन तत्सर्वं ज्ञात्वा जामातृचेष्टितम् ॥
tataḥ kālena mahatā cintābhūc chvaśurasya ca || divya-jñānena tat sarvaṃ jñātvā jāmātṛ-ceṣṭitam ||
tataH kAlena mahatA chintAbhUchChvashurasya cha || divyaj~nAnena tatsarvaM j~nAtvA jAmAtRRicheShTitam
बहुत टाइम बाद ससुर को भी चिंता होने लगी। उन्होंने जान लिया कि दामाद ने क्या किया। भगवान की नॉलेज से उन्हें सब पता चल गया।
Divya-jñāna functions as a higher pramāṇa revealing hidden intent; knowledge is prerequisite to dharmic response.
Before judging or punishing, verify facts through reliable means; cultivate clarity (viveka) to detect manipulation in close relationships.
When wrongdoing is suspected within family bonds, discernment (including divya-jñāna as narrative device) should be used to uncover truth before action; anxiety signals moral imbalance requiring correction.
Right knowledge enables timely correction and prevents complicity; ignorance or willful blindness allows adharma to mature into heavier sin and suffering.
Varaha Purana 162.162.2 (yathāvṛtta narration as ordinary truth-finding); Varaha Purana 162.162.4 (ethical shock leading toward investigation)
It shows a Purāṇic narrative mechanism where hidden actions are revealed through ‘divya-jñāna,’ reinforcing moral causality and accountability.
No place-name occurs in this verse.
Actions (ceṣṭita) are ultimately knowable and judged within the story-world; secrecy does not remove accountability.
