Parikramā
nityaṃ sannihitā tatra siddhidā pāpanāśinī || kṛṣṇena balabhadreṇa gopaiḥ kaṃsaṃ jighāṃsubhiḥ ||
Varāha (default dialogue framework)
It illustrates how Purāṇic sacred geography is reinforced by narrative association—linking a site’s sanctity to well-known Kṛṣṇa-cycle figures and events.
A specific place-name is not given in this line; the verse functions as a narrative anchor for a shrine already being described in the chapter.
The verse emphasizes purification (pāpa-nāśa) and the pursuit of legitimate aims (siddhi) through culturally sanctioned pilgrimage and remembrance.
