Uttara Bhāga · Avimukta and Liberation Claims (Mokṣa Geography)

Which tīrtha grants non-rebirth and mokṣa, and how is the Four-armed Lord present/manifest there?
Certain kṣetras are portrayed as liberation-conducive because divine presence is immediate and the aspirant’s impurities are decisively dissolved.
Combine tīrtha practice with inner renunciation: bathe with remembrance of the Four-armed Lord, cultivate detachment, and orient life toward final release.
Instruction to Bhū-devī about liberation through Avimukta; mentions the manifestation of the Four-armed Lord (Viṣṇu) there.
Bathing in Avimukta grants mokṣa and freedom from rebirth; the divine (caturbhuja) presence is affirmed there.
Following yields liberation (mokṣa) and cessation of mortal rebirth; contrary result (continued saṃsāra) is implied if not attained.
Varāha Purāṇa 152.34 (death there leading to Viṣṇu’s world; nearby tīrtha naming)
It exemplifies “mokṣa geography,” where liberation is associated with specific sites and rites, an influential idea in the development of pilgrimage landscapes.
Avimukta—often identified in broader Sanskrit tradition with Kāśī/Vārāṇasī; this verse associates liberation with bathing there (identification may vary by textual tradition).
It frames liberation as connected to disciplined practice and place-based ritual, presenting a culturally embedded path of self-cultivation.
