ये च पापाः कृतघ्नाश्च द्विजदेवापराधिनः ॥ कुशिष्याय न दातव्यं न दद्याच्छास्त्रदूषके ॥१ १९॥ नीचाय न च दातव्यं ये न जानन्ति सेवितुम् ॥ सुशिष्याय च दातव्यं धीराय शुभबुद्धये
ye ca pāpāḥ kṛtaghnāś ca dvijadevāparādhinaḥ || kuśiṣyāya na dātavyaṃ na dadyāc chāstradūṣake ||1 19|| nīcāya na ca dātavyaṃ ye na jānanti sevitum || suśiṣyāya ca dātavyaṃ dhīrāya śubhabuddhaye
पापी लोगों को, जो शुक्रिया नहीं जानते, उनको मत दो। जो ब्राह्मिन और देवताओं का बुरा करते हैं, उनको भी मत दो। बुरे छात्रों को मत दो, जो शास्त्र को बिगाड़ते हैं। नीचे लोगों को मत दो, जो सेवा करना नहीं जानते। अच्छे छात्रों को दो, जो समझदार हैं और अच्छी सोच रखते हैं।
