FAQs

It preserves a standard Purāṇic reward schema—ritual action at a tīrtha leading to celestial attainment—useful for understanding premodern South Asian religious geography and merit discourse.

The verse points back to the previously described hidden site with a falling stream near Meru; the site is described relationally rather than by a modern place-name.

It promotes disciplined observance (time-bound stay) and ritual cleanliness as ideal conduct when approaching culturally significant landscapes.
