Expiatory Rites for Contact with a Corpse and with a Menstruating Woman
मक्षिका त्रीणि वर्षाणि टिट्टिभैकादशं समाः ॥ दंशो वै सप्त चान्यानि कृकलासो भवेत्समाः ॥
makṣikā trīṇi varṣāṇi ṭiṭṭibhaikādaśaṃ samāḥ || daṃśo vai sapta cānyāni kṛkalāso bhavetsamāḥ ||
वो तीन साल तक मक्खी बनता है। ग्यारह साल तक एक चिड़िया बनता है जो टिटिभा कहते हैं। सात साल तक एक कतरा बनता है जो काटता है। बाकी साल में छिपकली बनता है।
