The Greatness of Kubjāmraka: Raibhya’s Boon and the Teaching on the Sacred Tīrthas
caturviṃśatir dvādaśyāṃ yena vijñāyate khalu || punar anyat pravakṣyāmi tīrthaṃ kubjāmrake dhare
Varāha (default dialogue framework)
It preserves a calendrical-ritual cue (dvādaśī) alongside a tīrtha reference, reflecting how Purāṇas embed timekeeping and pilgrimage practice together.
Kubjāmra is explicitly identified as the locus of the tīrtha being introduced.
Methodical transmission of knowledge: the speaker signals a structured exposition (‘again I shall explain’), encouraging careful learning rather than impulsive action.
