किमन्यैर्बहुभिर्दानैः कोटिसंख्यानविस्तरैः ॥ श्रोत्रियाय दरिद्राय सुवृत्तायाहिताग्नये ॥
kim anyair bahubhir dānaiḥ koṭisaṃkhyāna-vistaraiḥ || śrotriyāya daridrāya suvṛttāyāhitāgnaye ||
हज़ार-करोड़ दान देने की ज़रूरत नहीं है। बस एक गरीब ब्राह्मण को दो जो शास्त्रो को जानता है, अच्छा चलता है, और अग्नि की पूजा करता है। उस एक दान में ही पूरा पुण्य मिल जाता है।
