Hema-kumbha
दूरात्ते परिहर्त्तव्याः श्वभिस्तुल्या इवाध्वरे ॥ पर्वकाले हि सर्वे वै वर्जिताः पितृदैवतैः ॥
dūrāt te pariharttavyāḥ śvabhis tulyā ivādhvare || parva-kāle hi sarve vai varjitāḥ pitṛ-daivataiḥ ||
पूजा या हवन के टाइम इनसे दूर ही रहना चाहिए। जैसे कुत्ते को दूर रखते हैं, वैसे ही इनको भी। क्योंकि जब भी कोई त्योहार या श्राद्ध का दिन आता है, तब ये लोग उसमें शामिल नहीं होते। पितर और देवता भी इन्हें नहीं मानते।
