चत्वारि तिलपात्राणि चतुर्दिक्षु निवेशयेत् ॥ सर्वलक्षणयुक्ताय श्रोत्रियाय कुटुम्बिने ॥
chatvāri tilapātrāṇi caturdikṣu niveśayet || sarvalakṣaṇayuktāya śrotriyāya kuṭumbine ||
चारों दिशा में तिल के चार बर्तन रखने हैं। फिर इन्हें एक ऐसे ब्राह्मण को देना है जो घर-गृहस्थी वाला है और सारी चीज़ें जानता है।
