सप्तव्रीहिसमायुक्तां चतुर्दिक्षु च दीपिताम् ॥ सर्वोपस्करसयुक्तां सर्वगन्धादिवासिताम् ॥
saptavrīhisamāyuktāṃ caturdikṣu ca dīpitām || sarvopaskarasaṃyuktāṃ sarvagandhādivāsitām ||
सात तरह के चावल या दान रखना है। चारों तरफ दिया जलाना है। सारी चीज़ें रेडी रखनी है जो चाहिए। सारी खुशबू और इत्र से सजी हुई होनी चाहिए।
