तुरीयांशेन वत्सं तु तत्पार्श्वे स्थापयेत्सुधीः ॥ इक्षुदण्डमयाः पादा रजतस्य खुरैर्युताः ॥
turīyāṃśena vatsaṃ tu tatpārśve sthāpayet sudhīḥ || ikṣudaṇḍa-mayāḥ pādā rajatasya khurair yutāḥ ||
उस एक चौथे हिस्से वाले बछड़े को उसके पास रखना है। उसकी टांगें गन्ने की लकड़ी से बनानी हैं, और खुर चांदी के हों।
