The Threefold Division by the Guṇas, the Deities’ Attainment of Worship, and the Opening of the Durjaya Episode
evam uktaḥ tadā tais tu mahāyogeśvaro hariḥ | karomi sarvān vaḥ pūjyān ity uktvā ’ntaradhīyata || 10.8 ||
Varāha (Hari/Viṣṇu)
It preserves a common Purāṇic narrative convention: a divine figure grants assurance or a boon-like promise and then performs antaradhāna (disappearance), signaling closure of a dialogue episode and reinforcing the authority of the preceding exchange.
No specific geographic site is named in this verse; it functions as a narrative transition rather than a sacred-geography marker.
The verse foregrounds the ethic of pūjya-bhāva—recognizing and establishing others as worthy of honor—framed as a social and philosophical principle of respect and legitimation.
