यूनश्च परदारादि दारिद्र्यं च कुटुम्बिनः । पुत्रदुःखस्य नास्त्यन्तो धनी चेन्म्रियते तदा ॥२६॥
यूनः । च । पर-दार-आदि । दारिद्र्यम् । च । कुटुम्बिनः । पुत्र-दुःखस्य । न । अस्ति । अन्तः । धनी । चेत् । म्रियते । तदा ॥२६॥
yūnaś ca paradārādi dāridryaṃ ca kuṭumbinaḥ | putraduḥkhasya nāsty anto dhanī cen mriyate tadā ||26||
जवानी में इंसान दूसरों की औरतों के पीछे पड़ जाता है। घर बसाने वाले को गरीबी का भी दर्द होता है। बच्चों के दुख का कोई अंत नहीं होता। और पैसा हो या न हो, सब को मरना ही पड़ता है।
For the young man there is (the temptation of) another’s wife and the like; for the householder there is poverty as well. There is no end to the sorrow caused by children; and if one is wealthy, then he dies (even so).
