Niralamba Upanishad 40: Verse 40
इदं निरालम्बोपनिषदं योऽधीते गुर्वनुग्रहतः सोऽग्निपूतो भवति स वायुपूतो भवति। न स पुनरावर्तते न स पुनरावर्तते। पुनर्नाभिजायते पुनर्नाभिजायत इत्युपनिषत्॥४०॥
इदम् । निरालम्ब-उपनिषदम् । यः । अधीते । गुरु-अनुग्रहतः । सः । अग्नि-पूतः । भवति । सः । वायु-पूतः । भवति । न । सः । पुनः-आवर्तते । न । सः । पुनः-आवर्तते । पुनः । न । अभिजायते । पुनः । न । अभिजायते । इति । उपनिषत् ॥ ४० ॥
idaṃ nirālambopaniṣadaṃ yo’dhīte gurvanugrahataḥ so’gnipūto bhavati sa vāyupūto bhavati | na sa punarāvartate na sa punarāvartate | punarnābhijāyate punarnābhijāyata ityupaniṣat ||40||
जो गुरु की कृपा से यह निरालम्ब उपनिषद पढ़ता है, वो आग से साफ़ हो जाता है, हवा से साफ़ हो जाता है। वो वापस नहीं आता, वापस नहीं आता। फिर से पैदा नहीं होता, फिर से पैदा नहीं होता, उपनिषद यहाँ खत्म होती है।
He who studies this Niralamba Upaniṣad through the grace of the teacher becomes purified by fire; he becomes purified by wind. He does not return again; he does not return again. He is not born again; he is not born again—thus (ends) the Upaniṣad.
