Niralamba Upanishad 4: Verse 4
स होवाच— महदहङ्कारपृथिव्यप्तेजोवाय्वाकाशत्वेन बृहद्रूपेणाण्डकोशेन कर्मज्ञानार्थरूपतया भासमानम् अद्वितीयम् अखिलोपाधिविनिर्मुक्तं तत् सकलशक्त्युपबृंहितम् अनाद्यनन्तं शुद्धं शिवं शान्तं निर्गुणम् इत्यादि-वाच्यम् अनिर्वाच्यं चैतन्यं ब्रह्म— ईश्वर इति च॥४॥
सः । होवाच । महत्-अहङ्कार-पृथिवी-अप्-तेजः-वायु-आकाश-त्वेन । बृहद्-रूपेण । अण्ड-कोशेन । कर्म-ज्ञान-अर्थ-रूपतया । भासमानम् । अद्वितीयम् । अखिल-उपाधि-विनिर्मुक्तम् । तत् । सकल-शक्ति-उपबृंहितम् । अनादि-अनन्तम् । शुद्धम् । शिवम् । शान्तम् । निर्गुणम् । इति-आदि-वाच्यम् । अनिर्वाच्यम् । चैतन्यम् । ब्रह्म । ईश्वरः । इति । च ॥४॥
sa hovāca— mahadahaṅkāra-pṛthivy-ap-tejo-vāyv-ākāśatvena bṛhadrūpeṇāṇḍakośena karma-jñānārtha-rūpatayā bhāsamānam advitīyam akhilopādhi-vinirmuktaṃ tat sakalaśakty-upabṛṃhitam anādy-anantaṃ śuddhaṃ śivaṃ śāntaṃ nirguṇam ityādi-vācyam anirvācyam caitanyaṃ brahma— īśvara iti ca॥4॥
उन्होंने कहा: वो चेतना, जिसे ब्रह्मन कहते हैं, वो ईश्वर भी है। यही सब में चमक रहा है, महत तत्व में, अहंकार में, धरती, पानी, आग, हवा, आसमान में। यह ब्रह्मांड के बड़े रूप में है, और कर्म, ज्ञान, और चीज़ों के रूप में भी दिखता है। पर यह एक ही है, दूसरा कोई नहीं। यह सारे बंधन से आज़ाद है, सारी शक्ति इसमें है, न कोई शुरू है न कोई एंड, साफ है, भला है, शांत है, कोई गुण नहीं। बोलने में तो ऐसे कहते हैं, पर सच में इसका कोई भाषा नहीं।
He said: That Consciousness, Brahman—also termed Īśvara—is that which, appearing as the great principle (mahat), egoity (ahaṅkāra), earth, water, fire, air, and space, and as the vast form of the cosmic egg, and as the forms of action, knowledge, and their objects, shines forth; yet is non-dual, free from all limiting adjuncts, endowed with all powers, beginningless and endless, pure, auspicious, peaceful, without attributes; describable by such terms and yet ultimately indescribable.
