Chhandogya Upanishad 12: Verse 12
तेन तं हायास्य उद्गीथमुपासांचक्र एतमु एवायास्यं मन्यन्त आस्याद्यदयते ॥१.२.१२॥
तेन तम् ह आयास्य उद्गीथम् उपासांचक्र एतम् एव आयास्यम् मन्यन्त आस्यात् यद् अयते
tena taṃ hāyāsya udgīthamupāsāṃcakra etamu evāyāsyaṃ manyanta āsyādyadayate
फिर आयास्य के पास गए उद्गीथ के लिए। लोग सोचने लगे कि आयास्य ही उनके लिए गायेगा। वो जो चाहते थे, वो पायेगा।
With that (knowledge of the Akshara), he approached Ayasya for the Udgitha. They thought that this very Ayasya would sing for them, for he would obtain what he desired.
