Sukta 8.41
तमू षु समना गिरा पितॄणां च मन्मभिः । नाभाकस्य प्रशस्तिभिर्यः सिन्धूनामुपोदये सप्तस्वसा स मध्यमो नभन्तामन्यके समे ॥
tam ū ṣu samanā girā pitṝṇāṃ ca manmabhiḥ | nābhākasya praśastibhir yaḥ sindhūnām upodaye sapta-svasā sa madhyamo nabhantām anyake same ||
पितरों के साथ मिलकर वरुण की स्तुति करो। नाभक रिशि की तारीफ के साथ करो। वो नदियों के पास रहता है, सात नदियाँ वहाँ से गुज़रती हैं। वो बीच में खड़ा रहता है और सबको जोड़ता है। उसकी रोशनी चमक उठी है।
