Sukta 5.57
वाशीमन्त ऋष्टिमन्तो मनीषिणः सुधन्वान इषुमन्तो निषङ्गिणः । स्वश्वाः स्थ सुरथाः पृश्निमातरः स्वायुधा मरुतो याथना शुभम् ॥
vāśī́manta ṛṣṭí-manto manīṣíṇaḥ su-dhánvāna íṣu-manto niṣaṅgíṇaḥ | sv-áśvāḥ stha su-ráthāḥ pṛ́śni-mātaraḥ sv-āyudhā maruto yāthanā́ śúbham ||
मरुत्स के पास कुल्हाड़ी है, भाले हैं। वो समझदार हैं। उनके पास अच्छी धनुष है, तीर हैं, तीर रखने वाला पोटा है। उनके घोड़े अच्छे हैं, रथ अच्छा है। पृश्नि माँ के बेटे हैं यह। अपने हथियारों के साथ अच्छे काम की तरफ बढ़ते हैं।
