Sukta 10.60
असमातिं नितोशनं त्वेषं निययिनं रथम् । भजेरथस्य सत्पतिम् ॥
ásamātiṃ ni-tośánaṃ tveṣáṃ ni-yayínaṃ rátham | bhájē rathásya sát-patim ||
Invocation of divine vehicle and its lord—used to align the practitioner with rightly guided force and truth-governed action.
Sat (truth-being) as governing principle, Right guidance (ni-yayin) as alignment with ṛta, Vehicle as formation of effective power
The chariot is ‘niyayin’—movement in accord with ṛta, not random desire.
Satpati indicates governance by truth-being; action becomes true when ruled by sat.
The fashioned vehicle of progress—cosmic dynamism organized into a path.
Yoga of works (karma-yoga archetype) in Vedic form: disciplined energy guided by illumined mind.
The life-force as a vehicle; illumination as the guiding light; discipline as harnessing.
Harnessing and guidance: feel the whole system (body–prāṇa–mind) as a chariot offered to the inner Master.
Manipura (drive) regulated by Ajna (guidance)
Box breathing 4–4–4–4 while repeating mentally ‘ni-tośanam… ni-yayinam’.
Collected force; centered readiness; right-direction clarity.
Before action, pause; repeat 7 times; then act only from the felt ‘niyayin’ (right-leading) sense, not from agitation.
Maintain Vedic accent per Saṃhitā; keep the three-pāda flow without dragging; slight lift on udatta-marked syllables.
Articulate consonant clusters: asamātim / nitośanam; keep ‘bhaje rathasya satpatim’ as one decisive movement.
: short ‘a’, clear ‘s’, : dental ‘t’, not retroflex; ‘ś’ in -śanam, : y’s distinct (ni-ya-yi-), : sat-patim with clear t+p junction
Focused, decisive, slightly brighter on ‘tveṣam’.
