चाकॢप्रे तेन ऋषयो मनुष्या यज्ञे जाते पितरो नः पुराणे । पश्यन्मन्ये मनसा चक्षसा तान्य इमं यज्ञमयजन्त पूर्वे ॥
cākḷpré téna ṛ́ṣayo manuṣyā́ yajñé jāté pítaro naḥ purāṇé | páśyan manyé mánasā cákṣasā tā́n yá imáṃ yajñám áyajanta pū́rve ||
उसी तरीके से इंसान रिशि बन गए। जब यज्ञ शुरू हुआ, तब हमारे पूर्वज पहले से ही थे। मैं उन्हें अपनी आँखों से देख सकता हूँ, अपने मन से। वो लोग जो पहले थे, उन्होंने ही पहला यज्ञ किया था।
