विराण्मित्रावरुणयोरभिश्रीरिन्द्रस्य त्रिष्टुबिह भागो अह्नः । विश्वान्देवाञ्जगत्या विवेश तेन चाकॢप्र ऋषयो मनुष्याः ॥
virā́ṇ mitrā́varuṇayor abhiśrī́r índrasya triṣṭúb iha bhāgó áhnaḥ | víśvān devā́ñ jagatyā́ víveśa téna cākḷpré ṛ́ṣayo manuṣyā́ḥ ||
विराज शक्ति मित्र और वरुण की चमक बन गयी। त्रिष्टुभ मीटर इंद्र का हिस्सा बन गया, दिन का हिस्सा। जगती मीटर से सब देवता मूवमेंट में आए। इसी तरह रिशियों ने देखने की शक्ति पाई।
