Sukta 10.125
अहमेव स्वयमिदं वदामि जुष्टं देवेभिरुत मानुषेभिः । यं कामये तंतमुग्रं कृणोमि तं ब्रह्माणं तमृषिं तं सुमेधाम् ॥
ahám eva svayám idáṃ vadāmi júṣṭaṃ devébhir utá mā́nuṣebhiḥ | yáṃ kāmáye táṃ-tam ugráṃ kṛṇomi táṃ brahmā́ṇaṃ tám ṛ́ṣiṃ táṃ sumedhā́m ||
मैं खुद अपनी शक्ति से यह बात बोलती हूँ। देवता भी मुझे मानते हैं और इंसान भी। जिसे मैं चाहूँगी, उसको बड़ा ताकतवर बना देती हूँ। उसको बड़ा ज्ञानी बना देती हूँ, रिशि बना देती हूँ, और उसका दिमाग साफ कर देती हूँ।
