Sukta 1.127
द्विता यदीं कीस्तासो अभिद्यवो नमस्यन्त उपवोचन्त भृगवो मथ्नन्तो दाशा भृगवः । अग्निरीशे वसूनां शुचिर्यो धर्णिरेषाम् । प्रियाँ अपिधीँर्वनिषीष्ट मेधिर आ वनिषीष्ट मेधिरः ॥
dvitā́ yad īṃ kīstā́so abhí-dyavo namasyánta upa-vócanta bhṛ́gavo mathnánto dāśā́ bhṛ́gavaḥ | agnír ī́śe vásūnāṃ śúcir yó dharṇír eṣām | priyā́n api-dhī́ṃr vaniṣīṣṭa médhirá ā́ vaniṣīṣṭa médhiraḥ ||
जब लोग उसकी प्रार्थना करते हैं और झुकते हैं, भृगु रिशि लोग आग सुलगाके भेंट चढ़ाते हैं। अग्नि धन का मालिक है। वो साफ है, सब कुछ उठा के रखता है। बुद्धि वाला देवता हमारे लिए अच्छे खज़ाने ला दे। छुपा हुआ खज़ाना हमें मिल जाए।
