फिर राम, उस अमृत के लिए बड़ा तबाही हुई। अदिति के बेटों ने दिति के बेटों को मार दिया।
O Rama! the race of devatas and daityas suffered great destruction because of (their fight for) that nectar. Thereafter Aditi's sons, the devatas killed Diti's sons, the daityas.
Attachment to coveted rewards can lead to kulakṣaya (social collapse); Dharma warns that uncontrolled desire (lobha) destroys communities and must be governed by restraint and justice.
After the emergence of amṛta, devas and asuras fight for it, causing immense destruction; the devas (Aditi’s sons) ultimately kill the daityas (Diti’s sons).
Sobriety and self-governance: the implied virtue is to avoid letting ambition for power or immortality override moral order.
