हे बेस्ट ऑफ मेन, उच्चैश्रवस नाम का घोड़ा निकला जो सबसे बड़ा घोड़ा था। कौस्तुभ मणि भी मिली। और अमृत भी आया जो सबसे उत्तम था।
O Foremost among men (Rama)! ucchaishravas, the best of horses (the celestial horse), kausthubham, the best jewel and also nectar came (from churning).
The verse hints that extraordinary boons and treasures can arise from great collective effort, but such gains also test self-control; Dharma requires restraint and right use of power rather than possessiveness.
Viśvāmitra recounts the churning of the ocean, listing divine beings and objects that emerged, including Uccaiśśravas, the Kaustubha gem, and amṛta.
Discernment (viveka): the ability to recognize that prized objects are not ends in themselves, and that rightful conduct matters more than acquisition.
