कुशिलवगानप्रशंसा · The Commissioning and Public Performance of the Rāmāyaṇa
महात्मानौ महाभागौ सर्वलक्षणलक्षितौ ।
तौ कदाचित्समेतानामृषीणां भावितात्मनाम् ।
आसीनानां समीपस्थाविदं काव्यमगायताम् ॥१४॥
mahātmānau mahābhāgau sarvalakṣaṇalakṣitau |
tau kadācit sametānām ṛṣīṇāṃ bhāvitātmanām |
āsīnānāṃ samīpasthāv idaṃ kāvyam agāyatām ||14||
दोनों बड़े दिल वाले राजकुमार थे, बहुत खुश किस्मत वाले। उनके चेहरे पर सारी अच्छी निशानियाँ थी। एक बार जब रिशि सब एक जगह बैठे थे, वो दोनों वहाँ खड़े हो गए। रिशि लोग ध्यान में थे। उसके बाद दोनों भाइयों ने यह पूरा काव्य गाया।
On a particular occasion both the great princes who were dignified and endowed with good features, chanted this great epic in the presence of honoured ascetics who assembled at one place.
